Welcome to The Starr Touch — where healthy natural hair meets intentional care. I’m Chyna, a NYS Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, and Certified Scalp Rejuvenation Specialist specializing in healthy natural hair, scalp rejuvenation therapy, and hair loss support in Rockland County, NY. My focus is simple: helping women/men restore, retain, and grow their natural hair through customized scalp treatments, extension-free protective styling, silk presses, and long-term maintenance plans. Every appointment is a private, one-on-one experience designed to assess your hair and scalp health, identify concerns, and create a clear growth plan. This is not just a styling service, it’s a healthy hair partnership. New Client Policy: All new clients are required to book the New Client Package. This allows me to fully assess your scalp and hair condition and properly begin your healthy hair journey. Returning Clients: If you have not been serviced within 3 months, you will be considered a new client to ensure your hair and scalp are re-evaluated before continuing maintenance. Booking & Payment Policies • A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your appointment. This amount goes toward your final service total. • A 3.60% convenience fee applies to all card payments. • If rescheduling occurs twice, a $30 rescheduling fee will apply, especially for same-day changes. Appointment Guidelines: • Ages 7+ only. Children’s services are priced the same as adult services due to time and care required. • Due to limited space, no additional guests are permitted. • 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 15 minutes, a $15 late fee applies. After 30 minutes, the appointment is considered a no-show. If you do not see your preferred date available, please contact me directly. Cancellation Policy: A 100% cancellation fee applies to: • No-shows • Cancellations made within 24 hours • Arrivals more than 30 minutes late Late cancellations impact both my schedule and other clients awaiting appointments. CANCELLATION POLICY
A 100% cancellation fee applies for all no-shows, including cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment or arriving more than 30 minutes late. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booked service. Last-minute cancellations affect not only my schedule but also clients waiting for an appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged the full service fee of your booking. Please note that retainer fees and cancellation charges do not roll over. If you choose to rebook, you will need to pay a new retainer fee. Thank you for respecting my time and business—I truly appreciate your continued support and understanding.
